Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Instaremit Uganda Ltd's money-transfer services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorised to use money-transfer services in your jurisdiction to create an account.

2. Fees and exchange rates

We display all fees and exchange rates before you confirm a transfer. The rate shown is locked for 30 minutes. We use the mid-market rate; we do not add a spread.

3. Delivery guarantee

If we fail to deliver by the quoted time, we will automatically refund the transfer fee to your account within 24 hours. This does not apply if the delay is caused by recipient bank errors, sanctions checks, or force majeure.

4. Prohibited uses

You may not use Instaremit for money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, or any unlawful purpose. We report suspicious activity to the Financial Intelligence Authority of Uganda.

5. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Kampala, Uganda.
